The Great Recession?

Or is the recession what made us great?

I could not help but listen to these words faintly in the background while I broke from the Olympic coverage.
A new focus from the materialistic to what is important to our future?
The foundation for our next generation of leaders and decision makers?

Oceanside or seaside West to East

Midland or Southland from the plains to the rolling Southern acres of big sky & big mountains

From the North to the South and every home town in between

From Soho to small town USA

I think there is something great about our nation right now, how priorities are changing and people are taking stock in one another. I look forward to the future and the new found attitude of the American dream.

And to think, all this from a commercial?

Oh yeah, by the way are you are in good hands?

La Maison Fou has no connection with Allstate, just touched heart.

I heard that same comment on a commercial for all state insurance. Its funny my biggest complaint with clients in the past year is getting them over the financial hump of investing in their furniture instead of buying disposable. My business partner made an astounding comment, "it's because it is all they know how to do. They are being inundated with this info and it is on trend to think like that"

Yes it does trickle into choosing pieces that are an investment for your home as well.
It was actually from the Allstate commercial. I just thought it was so right on!
Thanks for stopping by,

I know, I just loved this when it ran over the weekend, and to think? From a commercial? Thanks for the comment.

I so agree with you Leslie. So many of us are thinking in a whole new way and letting our passions speak loud to those we love, not what we can or cannot buy.

Although my life has not changed much, I know some others have. I guess I live a pretty low star factor lifestyle, but it always seems to remain in the black. Not a lot of want, I am pretty content.
Have a good weekend,
L.
