Speaking of nominations

A rare glimpse intoAcademy Award winning, Katharine Hepburn's kitchen 8000 sq. foot Conneticut beach house.
To the right of the vintage stove, you can see the sea salt ravages cupboard doors and drawers.
Sold in 2003 after her death, and remodeled by an East coast construction family.

Expanded in 1939, by Hepburns father after a New England famous hurricane. The kitchen after the new owners renovated and updated Hepburn's kitchen.

The newly renovated pantry featuring the enormous custom dropped sink. The vintage two legged sink has double faucets and houses exposed plumbing. The current owners would hope to think Ms. Hepburn would think the new kitchen is as swell as it appears to be.

Kitchen featured in the attic mag / 2009 magazine
