Living Large

430 sq. feet of love

A tiny dependency house is worked into a storage and solution for homeowners and their tiny Yorkie, Benne. The homowners wanted a project, and Ashley Avenue is where they settled into their small but big on design carriage house. The small but charming home is big on design and decor, enchanting and entertaining.
Have a look, and enjoy the tour.

In the living area, the ceiling was opened up to bring a larger more open feel to the room.

The ceiling and top of the closet area is a great storage solution for media and baskets for storage. The curtain panels hide more storage room, and a complete HVAC system.

I love the dressier touches in the oil paintings, chandeliers and topiary's in the kitchen. The homeowners managed to fit a small petite farm sink into the space below the window. Topped off with white marble countertops.

The aged patina of this breakfast table is wondeful espescially pairted with the white crisp faux bamboo chairs. All artwork in the home showcases local artists and is in keeping with southern lifestyles.

The bath, was relocated to the rear of the house to capture the amazing garden view from within looking out.

The view as you enter the home. A small spot for getting together, having a seat and relaxing. The homeowners mixed their antiques, clean lines and organic pieces together. The coffee table is a unique and custom piece built by the homeowner. This syle reminds me of the newly decorated pad of fellow blogger; Valorie at The Visual Vamp.
