Think fresh..
Ok. Is it just me or lately everywhere we go there is a new, fresh, renewal,or rejuvination of some sort out there. From media darhlings to design remix.I am not one to sniffle at a fresh look, I pride myself on being able to change and update. I like to keep some things the same and roll with the change wagon when need be. Which is why I have a bit of a range when it comes to designing my own space and with what.
Mine is a loved style with that which is worn and used, paired with a zest for sleek and polished. Can the two become one? Yes.
This next week while my youngest is riding the waves in Florida, his room is getting makeover No. 1
We began with a shot of neutralizing the old Barkcloth cowboy theme complete with bunkbeds and horse mural last year. Entering into 6th grade we had to grow up a little and move on into a more sophisticated theme. I loved the western motif, but alas the more modern approach won out.
So, while this week is already full of work, an added dash of room updating is upon me.
