Pick of the crop
Well we succumbed to bird, squirrels and finally the garden is producing. They key (we have figured out) is to pick before the creatures kow there is something there. So, as I grabbed a handfull of cherry tomotoes this morning, I was intrigued bt their colors. Shades of red, orange, apricot and various acid greens. So I wondered why not show a few pics of garden inspired colors.
Happy Friday and enjoy the upcoming weekend.
Lots of tomatoe reds and shots of faded red colors. Love the bricked flooring and the grainsack inspired draperies. The wood tone of the natural island is also a great contrast.

Lots of greens, yellow garden stool is the exact shade of a turning tomato. The natural shades of these chairs looks like some of my ornamental grasses, and I like the pop of chocolate on the decking.

I love the modern into traditional feel of this long and ornamental hallway.
Isn't orange the new red?
Ikea green and white in this living room. Black grounds things and the striped rug brings the floor down. I love the idea around the doorway. Cards, notes and mementos surround the entry to the next room.
Rounding things out with Nancy Lancasters famous yellow room. Lots of shades and paired with greens and apricots too. Makes me want to go have a salad!
I am as big a fan of the collected room as I am a sleek and polished room, can't we have both?
More is more; Less is more.........
