Fall into your interiors

Fallish Forecast

We are experiencing fallish temps this week, in keeping with that these photos below really have no relationship other than color and design. The one common denominator is the saturation of hue and the ability to play sleek on texturized surfaces.
 I can feel that autumn sun shine when I look at these images. Fall is upon us, the cool breezes are coming and that autumn moon is around the horizon.

I love that rustic boat finish against the sail that is graphic and bold on the boat.
The black molding is not bad either. I really like this simple but graphic shot, and there is even a little leopard in there too!

The dark wall plays off the silver in this vignette.

The round lampshade is already visually interesting, but with that pattern it is really drawing me in.I also like the wall and top of the console.The cards seem so simple, but really add a pop of color and design to the vignette.

The dark basket weave finish of this dresser almost mimics the woven feathers in the coat of the owl portrait.I am also loving the stone and dark wall color.Just the right mix of old and new from the mix master RL.

The rustic pine boards with a polished onyx dresser and three spherical accessories over top are so texturally different they make this nook very interesting. The simple stripes on that lamp base are reflective and a splash of color in the sleek lined leather chair is really modern in feel.

Who doesn't want a fun bit of whimsy in the bedroom? I love the metallic headboard shown here.The look is softened by deep grays and then cooled down with whites.Pretty patterns and a touch of metal which gives the room it's glowing quality.

I love these walls, I am thinking a new faux finish that I must replicate!The green and concrete is great, The table, pair of lamps and the domed vignette is really great looking in this room.How interesting are those lamps? The rustic base of the table is really strong in size and scale but works with the polished lamp bases.I also like the unusual double vine shaped chandelier, delicate and interesting in contrast to the raw looking walls and floors.

Awww.... The paneling, the more modern approach to a portrait, and that chair! I love the trim and the use of contrasting colors. What about that baby in the chair? Notice the orange ribbon collar? The fabric is almost a man made replication of the dogs soft coat....... great eye for color matching in this photo.

Another great looking faux finish not only on the walls, but on the paneling too. Omg! I feel a project sample board coming on!The golden base of that reminds me of cubism, a Picasso lamp base!
Great looking golden lamp juxtaposed against the worn and well "aged" wall too!

Gwen;
Ditto on the boat!
Love it too, makes me long for the fountain in Central Park, and the boaters who sail their vessels in the pond.
