Hump Day



Midweek

We are almost there, teetering between the midweek and the end of the week.

In younger days, the midweek would be marked by Little Joe's found at that infamous little juke joint in Stillwater. There you could dine on lil Joe burgers for around $1.00

Not bad for a starving artist / student. The day came to be known as Hump Day, getting over the midweek hump and on to the glorious weekend!

Here's a little Hump Day inspiration for you.

Not only are these lamps luscious, but the floor? Suspended color is clear cut glass paired with unearthed concrete columns and chipped away backdrop of walls.

Just ducky...... I love these images. Rub a dub dub, duck in the tub!
The connection between the mottled feathers and finishes is something to quack about.Some gorgeous gilding and softly faded silvered mirror is just perfect.

What can I say, I love this truck, just the right amount of blue and age.
 Again, the wall is stupendous!

                 Not only are these windows wonderful but the stacks of pillows and cushions are collectively
                  contrived. The stripes and textures of the reclaimed brick are really wonderful in this space.

                                                       How much is that doggie in the window?

This space is cool, sleek and modern without being too cold. A little warmth added by the soft feel of the smooth settee and the lampshade black and white is repeated on the floor. A little zebra does a room good, in my book!

This vignette shows some rustic, sleek and natural can co exist in a space or table vignette.

Of course the crosses, art and the shells are favorites of mine.

This is a horse of a different color, of course.

The blanket is one of my favorites, of course the horse has center stage.

Black bureau? Lovely persimmon colored walls and collective garden blooms fill this country house. Small standing at attention on the table ledge, a greyhound standing at attention!

This is another favorite of mine. The circular patterns are echoed in the lamps, mirror, table and hanging light fixture. I love the dog, no walking required!

 Here's to the middle of the week, now I must excuse myself, work is calling me inside!
