Southern Acquisitions...

Getaway down South

A quick trip down South proved to be not only relaxing, but equally rewarding in the hunting and gathering aspect! Another day of acquisitions and a celebration of two birthdays was in order.
Just a few of the finds, also a nice place to crash at the end of a busy, long day.

Things seems larger than life when in the big "D".....

lots and lots to do and see!

These European small horns are coming home with me ( 100% resin and animal free ).

A quartet of horns, all resin and animal free.
The two antique terrier dog pics were a flea market find, and the vintage ocean and rock cove picture was also an estate sale find.

These glittery glass spiders are crawling inside the house and spinning webs over the buffet!

Eeek!! This one is crawling over my horn orbs!

Neiman Marcus was stocked with cables and cables of these throws, oatmeal colored too!
Yum!

This was not a need, but a want. A carry on or large handbag of zebra and black leather. It even closes with a "D" ring and fold over, a mild equestrian enthusiast weakness.

A weakness for zebra, this too came home with me. Sigh, this unfortunately is not 100% animal free.

I struggle with this one tad weakness of zebra, I suppose I could have worse habits!

So very Sorry, PETA.

A couple of glittery silver skulls for the kitchen, and we had Halloween covered!

There were so many things at the Wisteria store for Halloween and at 50% off it was scary how great the deals were. I managed to treat myself to a few.

A sampling of the items for viewing at the warehouse store sale..........

There will be a few things for upcoming projects that were picked up for clients and myself for future design and decor projects.

Ikea was another stop on the client's shopping list. This was one of a few bags full of items for a ongoing project, also full of new holiday items from Ikea.

You shop on Saturday and get a tree! A cute little sapling from the national forest service partnering with Ikea stores. This was given out as you exited the store, love the burlap wrapping and the green jute holding the instructions to the tree.

Several of these magically appeared in the rear of the vehicle. I cannot wait to return and check out the new digs for the outlet store.

One more find, the Cost Plus World Market.....

Step into your childhood candy store or enjoy so many diverse home goods in one store. A neat store with holiday inspired food and drink too!

Aisles full of vintage candy, soda, gourmet foods and treasures from places all over the globe.

The flat screen can be turned to view from any location in the room.

Stenciled walls, drapes and painted black doors add to the modern feel of the rooms.
