Hermes to All!

The Holiday's are right around the corner, and

you know what that means........

Retailers are getting your lists all checked and checked twice. Follow your instincts and wants, ( I mean needs). Here are a few good looking stills from Hermes winter collection.

It is ankle deep into November, two weeks from Turkey Day, and you know what lurks behind the black Friday extravaganza. So, I am going over who has been naughty or nice to see what I may have up my stocking this holiday season. Like it or not it is upon us, I am nudging myself and my house into the holiday spirit. One day at a time.

I think this brings new meaning to ice sculpture and wearing a cover up. Knee high boots and faux fur trimmed frocks are a welcoming way to warm up the cold days of winter.

I so like the muted colors on this scarf, solids and finely printed tonal patterns, I think the reindeer looks pretty chic too. Long ago we had a wonderful home and garden center, where between Nov 1st - Dec 24th the inside of this store was transformed into a magical place. Children of all ages (and sizes) would come, have a look see, sample treats and go to tell Santa's reindeer what they wanted for Christmas. Of course, they would also bring sugar. I remember my daughters delight to see "real"reindeer for the first time up close and personal. This image brought that back to life.......

I suppose anything in the "orange box" would be welcomed and seen as a treat from key fobs, scarves, games or the coveted Avalon blanket! (sssshhh!!! Santa knows)!!!

For the most discriminating Santa, there would be a sleigh full of orange boxes for all the good little girls and boys. Pulled by a black steed, indeed!

Then, of course drawn by horse and carriage is the Les Airelles French Alp ski resort and driven Hermes sleigh. The coachman's seat, made from Hermes ebony- bull calf leather, complete inside the carriage with a Hermes signature blanket for the chilliest evenings. I think I will take my orange boxes to go!!

CHALLENGE. I say: generally, e.1=mc(n-1) for the n-dimensional room. I say this is close to self-evident.You think not? Then prove the contrary!

Window Mirror

The widely accepted hypothesis that gravitation is mediated through an elementary particle, the so called Higgs boson, seems to me severely flawed. How?

Because it is believed to have a mass itself. But then it must by definition generate hibos itself. Consider the two possible cases. First we presume the hibo has the least mass possible.

1. The hibo emits a new hibo. Then the number of hibos goes infinite and and mass must be relativistically convergent. Since this entails essentally manifest infinitude, which must be considered impossible, this case is to be rejected.

2. The hibos emits each other. Then they all must disappear simultaneously. The initially most reasonable special case is the first hibo quasi continuously emitting itself. This is equivalent to no emission at all, and so we are there again.

Can some Expert get off this hook? I cannot.

SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE

There's much in the world that you can't explain.
It's revealed for you to remember
by the whispering voice of a distant train
or a midnight rain in november.

Horizon within! You can always find
the keys to Enigma. Let's mention
one basic Truth: of spirited Mind
is Nature naught but extension.

Internal expanses! In dreams, ridden
by fear and longing you roam
that deep Southeast in your soul hidden
...on your random journey back home.

Thanks for stopping by Julie.....
I know, I am loving the ads this season. Too many to count but they have a common thread.....
a glimmer of hope and a look toward a better and more aspiring future.
