Most popular job, ever.
No matter which side of the political arena you sit on it no doubt that President of The United States is the highest profile job out there. You are always under scrutiny, your every move is watched and categorized, make a mistake and there are a pack of paparazzi waiting in the wings to splash it across the news and media.Whether you have the popular vote at the moment or not it is still a job that is looked upon as significant and would never be stormed upon or ransacked contrary to popular mood.
That is what sets us apart, the freedoms and democracy from which we built this great nation. It is these rights and liberties that will always unite the American people and our leaders as one nation under God.

So, here are a few (private) but not no private looks at our Prez's on their special day to honor and remember them.
JFK aboard the Honey Fitz, his yacht. It is said that the president would steal way, sometimes for a few hours up and down the Potomac sailing. On this vessel the Bullshot was the drink to quench your thirst.
Bullshot:
* 1 1/2 oz. Vodka
*3 oz chilled beef bullion
*dash of Worchestire, Tabasco, salt and pepper to taste
*celery salt (optional)
Pour your ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake well, and pour into a highball glass filled with ice.
Interestingly, JFK smoked 4-5 cigars per day.
His favorite brand being Upmann's or Monticello's.
This is another thing I found interesting:
Pens were generally used at his desk to sign papers with a pen dipped in ink. For giveaway type papers for diplomatic means he would use a Parker ball point pen, engraved with his signature.Items in the oval office were written with an Easterbrook ink pen. Also, on his desk laid an Shaeffer pen that he never used and that did not work!

Of course this is a horse of a different color, but I had to show this pic.
The Prez doing what he loved to do! Riding and being outdoors.
Riding at Yearling Row, his 400 - acre ranch in Malibu.
This was Regan's Sunday retreat, a place to ride, swim and work the ranch before he was elected governor of California. A family getaway, shared by all the Regan's and personally a favorite of Ronald's who raised Thoroughbred horses here.
After his presidency, a second ranch was purchased, The Western White House as it was affectionately referred to. A beautiful range North of Santa Barbara. The ranch played host to visitors such as; Margaret Thatcher, Queen Elizabeth II, and Mikhail Gorbachev.
Reagan last visited in 1995, and after 1998 the property was sold to The Young America's Foundation which maintains the property today.

FDR riding about with his beloved dog Fala.
An inseparable pair, the little Scottish terrier and the President. Fala accompanied the President everywhere, eating his meals in the Roosevelt's study, sleeping in a chair at the foot of his bed,and riding in the official reserved Presidential car.Though his popularity was overcome in the White House, the little dog suffered from over feeding by the staff and strict orders were given by the President that"Not even one crumb will be fed to Fala except by the President". After that his health was in good order and Fala was in perfect health.
In a rare moment in 1941, while signing the document that would end the world war,at around 10:00 p.m. as the document was put into effect the only sound in the room came from Fala who was stretched out sleeping heavily and unaware of the significance of the moment.
