A day of numero cinco and the ease of celebrating in style, of course!
Interesting fact. Cinco De mayo is the holiday that recognizes the victory of the Mexican army over the French army on May 5, 1862 at the Battle of Puebla.Outnumbered 8,000 to 4,000 Mexican troops the battle was won by the Mexican troops.Though short lived and Mexico City occupied by French troops within a year. The underdog theory of the Mexican troops is significant symbolizing unity and pride in the unexpected victory in this battle.
Today, the celebration is celebrated in Puebla and throughout Mexico as the second most celebrated and important day.
It is widely celebrated in the United States and become a significant celebration of Mexican culture and heritage.
The most celebrated National Holiday is the Mexico Independence Day on September 16th

I think it’s one of those things were people need an excuse to party. Think about how many people who celebrate St. Patrick’s Day that isn’t Irish. BTW, Colorado has the biggest Cinco de Mayo celebration, outside of Mexico.
Funny, that is exactly what my 18 yr old said.
Incresingly popular in the US now!
Thanks for stopping by.
