Tom's Styles Souls.....

Over the weekend it was funny how shoes were a reining theme,from walking in the footsteps of the youth group and hearing about their mission trip to putting soul into shoes for students while providing soles for those who walk with bare feet.

The event was really fun,artistic and full of lots of creativity for the soul and the sole!

Saturday was a style your sole event at the local mall in Zumiez, a retailer of Tom's shoes.

Patrons were lined up almost an hour before the event,so there was a lot of excitement and anticipation from those who were waiting for a custom style job for their Tom's shoes.

It was really fun working for the weekend,freelancing for Tom's shoes and creating one of a kind works of art.

A lot of customers had an idea or inspirational thought for their shoes,though some showed up with pics and i-phone downloads of what their design should be.

Each pair of shoes was limited to 15 minutes of artwork,so a lot of designs had to be altered and simplified in order to get them done in the time frame allotted.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day and some of the most challenging designs to do in a short amount of time.

Sleeping with Sirens was adapted from a design with band name.
