Layers
In it's raw state, and before any restoration had begun.
The years of colors from brown to greens and many in between.
It is easy to imagine the years sitting under a big Houston shade tree the conversations that were talked about sitting on these chairs, the drinks that were consumed at those conversations and the people who were supported on these four legs.
I almost loved them in their raw state, with a tale of what had been, what was to come and what was happening right now.
So, I took a picture of the last chair from a long set of these outdoor beauties which were transformed, cleaned up a little and given a fresh new face.
Gone is the layering of age and the past, serving a new family.
The same family, but a new generation full of new hopes, dreams, conversations and well, maybe some same topics but with different souls, different drinks to enjoy and definitely a different type of support.
The last girl in a gray and primed state, just before she is given her new finish and a new lease on life.
There, in the garden she will reside but oh what stories she could tell.
Perhaps, if you sit a while under a shade tree and have a libation or two you can hear the rustling of days gone by and stories being told.

Have only 1 of these, still flaked in colors of the past.
My kitten jumped on it last week and caught her paw. Oh my the screaming. And thankful I was close.
lifted her up and off.
She sauntered off zero worse for wear. A blessing.
They are fabulous things.Unfortunate for me they belong to a beloved client.I am always on the look out for them though! They are FABULOSITY at it's finest!
Sorry for the kitten,I am sure she will not land there again. They are so springy.
Thanks for stopping by Tara!
