I am nearing completion of a log cabin built with oversized logs, unstained, plank floor, open ceiling. What to do for furniture? I hate that unimaginative Wild West look. Just doing something calm seemed not up to the oversized logs.
I have decided that there is something inherently attractive about French styling against the rugged logs. Something sort of clicks for me when I see that Louie the XV with linen upholstery against old walls like skipping a generation or two of styles you get a higher contrast of expression.
