Office Space

Gilding The Lily

Too many times our works spaces for emailing, filing and just thinking are random and institutional in their feel.

Go forth, add that hula skirted girl to your desktop, the one you smuggled into the country from West Indies under the cargo bay.
Fluff the feathers of that vintage antique African hat on your wall proudly in the office cubicle.

And for goodness sakes, break out that British flag that you found in that shop hidden behind the rows of leather bound antique book on Notting Hill in college.

Break out the old items that make you feel comfortable and at your best to get in and get the work done, in style of course!

Here is some inspiration to assist you in whistling while you work!

For me it is the antique severed mannequin hands which holds dear scraps of vintage numbers and scraps of paper on my desk top.
